Surprise Birthday Party
On Saturday, July 25th, I hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband in the Banquet Center at the Galaxy. I am writing today to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! We were able to pull off the surprise without a hitch because of your staff. Everyone raved about the food and service. Stephanie and Cassie were invaluable to me getting this organized and planned. Stephanie was so very attentive to every detail I asked about and I was never told I couldn't do what I asked about. The wait staff was great as well as the bartender. Wonderful Place for a Shower
We had a baby shower for my niece in one of the smaller rooms at the Galaxy. It was great! Everything was set up when we got there. They loved it !!
Back in May we had a small (18 person) family dinner to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. We wanted it to be special but needed something close by, so we chose The Galaxy. The cellar room was perfect! It's beautiful and very cozy. My sister met with a planner ahead of time and they were great with helping pick out the menu & wine. They printed special menus for us without prices and were very helpful getting all the details lined up. The night of our dinner there was a prom going on there too, but it didn't disturb us or cause any problem at all. Actually it was kind of fun to see all the pretty dresses and you could feel the excitement in the whole place. We had 2 women servers dedicated to us all night and they were great! Very helpful, very accommodating. Once our orders were taken we received our food quickly and it all tasted great. We also had a photographer with us at the beginning and we took up a portion of the lobby taking pictures, but they never minded or asked us to move. Great Food - Great Service
They set out cheese, crackers. Beautiful fresh fruit. Think it's simple, right? I can't explain how nicely this was done. Tables were served water, tea, salad, bread and butter. Elegant. The buffet had just the right amount of food... enough to please everyone and it was all more than satisfactory. The chicken was excellent. Can't say enough about the servers checking on what or if we needed anything. We bought tickets for a show and was super excited. He was good at best. But, I have seen Vegas shows so it's hard not to compare. His magic was pretty good. His presentation could have been better. Overall... I would do it again. Give this restaurant a try. Very good!! The Wadsworth High School Class of 1961 would like to express our thanks to you for helping make our 50th class reunion a success. Your facility, food, and staff were outstanding as they have been in past reunions. Your opening of the wine room for our group picture was greatly appreciated. With 79 classmates to be photographed for a class picture, we could have had a real dilemma but thanks to you, we ended up with not only the room but also a beautiful background for our picture. Having the private room for the Sunday Brunch and the amazing choices of food was a great way to wind down and say our goodbyes. I want to express my gratitude to the management and staff at the Galaxy for a fantastic celebration of my husband’s birthday. Everything I had discussed with the banquet staff (Dave, Glenda, and Susie) was handled and was above and beyond any expectations I had. The kitchen staff, the servers, and the bartender, all fantastic! Every detail was accounted for. The food was fresh, hot, and very tasty. The room was set up great, clean, and everything flowed nicely. Dave was available if I needed anything that night and anything I asked for was handled promptly. Event the hotel stay at the Holiday Inn Express was terrific. A small group of family and friends gathered in the breakfast area late that night and the hotel staff was fabulously accommodating and gracious. I will definitely suggest the Galaxy to any of my friends and family looking to plan an event and if the need arises for another party or corporate event I will contact the Galaxy in the future. Our overall experience with the Galaxy Banquet Center was excellent! David Cavalier could not have been nicer to more helpful. The food was great. Everything ran so smoothly.
